Caddie FAQ's
Do I need to download the course before my round?
Yes. The Caddie works 100% offline, due to the user downloading the course map on Wi-Fi before heading to the course. Once you’ve downloaded a course, it will stay saved on your Caddie forever.
How do I adjust the brightness?
- If you’re on the home screen, click the more icon. Scroll down to the settings and you’ll see an adjust brightness toggle bar.
- If you’re in a game, click the in game menu in the top left and slide the brightness scale to the brightness you'd like.
- We also released an anti-glare screen protector that dramatically help with the screen brightness. You can buy one here!
How do I update my software version?
- Connect Caddie to Wifi
- Automatic Update Prompt
- If your device is on an older version, you’ll see a pop-up with instructions to update. Follow the steps shown (or skip to the next step for more details).
3. No Prompt? Let’s do it manually
- Go to the home screen
- Tap the More tab in the bottom right corner (Insert Icon)
- Look for “ Check for Software Update” button as shown below
- This screen will also show the current version of your device

How often is course data updated?
Our team regularly updates our course library to reflect new layouts, renovations, and GPS enhancements. Updates are downloaded whenever you connect to Wi-Fi, keeping your data fresh.
What should I do if a course map looks outdated or incorrect?
If you notice that a hole layout, yardage, or course detail looks off or outdated, please click here to learn how to get this updated.
Is The Caddie waterproof or weather-resistant?
Yes — The Caddie is built to handle the elements with a rugged, weather-resistant design. Whether you’re playing in heat, wind, or light rain, it’s ready to go.
What should I do if the GPS seems off or slow to load?
Make sure you’re standing outside with a clear view of the sky. If the issue persists, please restart your device.
