Let me start from the beginning. I'll tell you how I got the device, and then I'll explain why you need it. Sound good?
Not many people know me, but I'm known as "Our Guy Sam" or "Sam, the guy who tweeted Barstool for years to get them to come to Alabama" in Barstool circles. The reason I mention this is that it's how I got my hands on the Pinned Dart 2.0 speaker. When Barstool announced, they were coming to Alabama, I was ecstatic. Finally, all my tweeting had paid off. What began as a joke had become a reality. Fast forward about 2 months, my partner and I were walking up to Greystone's clubhouse for the tournament when we saw the Tee Gifts. There were some cool things, but most of them were in the leather Jones shoe bag. There was one thing that wasn't, however — a little white box that was roughly 6" by 6". My curiosity started to get the best of me. What could it be? As we approached and I got a closer look, I saw it was the Pinned Dart 2.0. When we went to collect our gifts, the Barstool Birmingham guy gave me a black one, but I politely asked for a red one. The red ones appeared to be a limited edition (at the tournament), which meant they were better to me (though I'm sure there's no real difference). And that's the short story of how I got it.
Now, onto the reason you're here, THE WHY YOU NEED ONE IN YOUR LIFE. This tiny 1-pound speaker packs a punch like Mike Tyson! Not only does it look great, but the sound quality is fantastic, and it's plenty loud. As soon as I got home, I turned it on and paired it to my phone (the quickest pairing I have dealt with). Once paired music started blasting and it had enough sound that my wife, 15-month-old daughter, and I could hear it from one end of the house to the other. It sounded better than some of our TVs or our other little Bluetooth JBL speakers. Watching my daughter do a little jig to "Dixieland Delight" was a lot of fun. She loved the magnet, too, putting it on the fridge and taking it off. My wife and I appreciate how easy it is to pair the mesh-like front with the plastic back, and the buttons are as easy as they get with a satisfying click. It charges quickly, though that may be because I didn't let it run out of battery after taking it out of the packaging. My wife asked if she could keep it for when she goes to the pool, beach, or lake. I just shook my head, there's absolutely no way I'm giving it up. The Dart 2.0 is now hanging from my golf bag's clip for when I go to the course or range until it needs to be recharged.
According to Pinned, it has a 10-hour battery life, a built-in magnet, is waterproof, has a bag clip, USB-C charging, dual dart pairing, a 125-foot range, and 5.0 Bluetooth technology.
In my experience, the Dart 2.0 is setting a new scoring record on the course when compared to other speakers in its size range. It's throwing darts at the pin while everyone else falls short. Go get one!
